The second edition of the French cultural festival - Bonjour India 2013- kicked off in the city on Monday. Organized by the French Institute of India and Alliance France, Kolkata is among the 16 cities playing host to a gamut of events in the three-month long festival. Renowned French artists will collaborate with their Indian counterparts to showcase their talents in dance, music, literature, science, new circus, design, exhibitions, opera, architecture, cinema and theatre. This apart there will be an economic meet and a food festival. The Bonjour India 2013, Kolkata Chapter, will include events like a Franco-Indian Mohiniyattam rendition uniting poetry, music and dance by Brigitte Chataigner and her troupe on January 31 and a French film festival at Nandan from February 8-10.
