Banquet & restaurant in air-conditioned tram would be a gift to Kolkatans before Durga puja. Initially 4 trams will be air-conditioned out of which two trams would have banquet hall for throwing party. Interested parties would hire the trams. And the other two trams would have mobile restaurants. Moreover, water taxis would ply on river Ganga, to reach commuters quickly from suburbs to Kolkata. More petrol pumps would be established on the lands of government bus depots. All the blocks of Bengal would be connected with respective sub-divisions by bus. For this purpose, more 2000 buses would be needed. -- A. B.
