Kolkata Metro was started its journey from 20.10.1984 and since then it became the oldest glory of now, another feather will soon be added in the story of achievement of Metro rail - it will soon join in the 'Elite Club' of London, Moscow, Berlin Metro rail. The name of Kolkata Metro will be taken with London, Moscow, Berlin, Munich and Istanbul Metro rail - because unlike those five Metro rails, Kolkata Metro rail will get composite alluminium third line at its north-south three phases, Kolkata Metro will install alluminium third line at its 35 kms track. class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> On the day of Uttam Kumar's 43rd death anniversary, i.e. from 24th July'22 a weeklong film festival of his popular films is being organised at Nandan 1,2,3 upto 30th July'22.  Total 14 films of Uttam Kumar will be screened, two films each day. The festival is being organised by Shilpi Sangsad to help poor technicians.
