Durga Puja : Theme Puja 2012 Of Deshopriyo Park Sarbojanin

A piece of heaven on earth. Peacocks, deers, squirrels, hares are
roaming in the Parijat garden of Devraj Indra. And the 20 thousand
sqft area of the garden is confiscated with the heavenly trees like
Mandar, Kalpataru, Parijat etc., kinds of medicinal plants of the
species of panacea. One would have to cross the garden on left and right and
enter into the garden's main portion. Parijat garden is the theme of
platinum jubilee year Durga Puja of Deshopriyo Park Sarbojanin, south
Kolkata.
The artistic architecture of Sourastra of Gujarat would be implemented
on this puja pandal. A new dimension would be imposed on the creation
of Amarabati. This work is now being processed at the workshop of
theme-maker Dipak Ghosh. Thermocol is the main item by which the
artists will create a piece of heavenly garden. This work has been
started in the month of June 2012. Last year, the artist Dipak Ghosh
had created a replica of famous Dilwara Temple with his favourite item
thermocol, and They're also cautious about the details of the garden. So,
alongwith five trees emerged from the sea, original medicinal trees
would also be planted throughout the garden. Hundreds of colourful
lamps will enlighten the garden. The lamps would be kept into the
coloured water of transparent glasses. By this time, the structure of
Parijat garden has been prepared.
Creative work of imaginary garden is now in progress.

Kripamoyee Kali Mandir Of Baranagar

Kripamoyee Kali Mandir of Baranagar, popularly known as Joy Mitra Kali Bari, is situated on the bank of river Hooghly at Baranagar of Kolkata. Baranagar is a very old place, more than 500 years ago this place was existed.  Famous zaminder Joyram Mitra of Sovabazar established this temple in mid-April of the year 1851. He bought about 3 bighas land at Baranagar from some James saheb and established the temple there similar to Brahmamoyee Kali temple of Mulajor of Shyamnagar.The goddess here is Dakshina Kali (দক্ষিণা কালী). If you walk from 'Kuthi ghat' of Baranagar river bank a few steps ahead, you'll reach to the temple - 171 years old this temple is situated by the side of Hara Kumar Thakur Strand.
