Bishnupur - Would Be World Heritage

Bishnupur - the place of temples would be world heritage. It enlisted
as prospective world heritage 14 years ago, in the year 1998 by
UNICEF. But, the central archeological department yet to submit their
report to UNICEF about the facts behind the possibility of it's
becoming world heritage site. And until the detailed report submitted
to them, UNICEF will not proclaim Bishnupur as world heritage site.
The temples made by the Malla kings about 500 years ago at Bishnupur
are famous for its unique structure and terracotta. And if UNICEF
declare it as world heritage, the expected funds would be released to
maintain the temples and then Bishnupur would be an important
tourist's spot.
