This year, 30th August is Janmastami. In the month of Bhadra, in Krishna Paksha, Ashtami Tithi, Rohini Nakshatra - Sri Krishna was born. He was the 8th son of Devaki. ৩০ অগস্ট, রাত ১১টা ৫৯ মিনিট থেকে ১২টা ৪৪ মিনিট পর্যন্ত পুজোর শুভক্ষণ। ৩০ অগস্ট রাত ১টা ৫৯ মিনিট পর্যন্তই রোহিণী নক্ষত্র থাকবে। তাই ৩০ অগস্টই জন্মাষ্টমী পালিত হচ্ছে। এই সময় অনুযায়ী ৪৫ মিনিটের মধ্যে পুজো সম্পন্ন করতে হবে।

৩১ অগস্ট সকাল ৯টা ৪৪ মিনিটের পর পারণ করা যাবে।

Rohini Nakshatra is the auspicious moment of Janmastami puja. And the time of Rohini Nakshatra is from 30 August Monday at 06:39 am. to 31 August Tuesday at 09:44 am.

The best time of puja in Rohini Nakshatra is from 11:59 pm to 12:44 am on 30 August.

Rohini Nakshatra will stay upto 1:59 am of 30th August, so, it will better to perform puja within 45 minutes on 30th August.

500 Year's Old Nimai Tirtha Ghat - Reminiscences Of Sri Chaitannya Deb

It says that Nimai Sri Chaitannya Deb once came to district Hooghly for the pilgrimage of Tarakeswar. So he bathed in river Ganga on the bathing ghat of Baidyabati. Then had started his journey to Tarakeswar on foot. It took about 12 hours to reach Tarakeswar. Later, the bathing ghat was named on him and now known to all as Nimai Tirtha Ghat. So, the ghat is about 500 year's old. Kabikankan Mukundaram mentioned this ghat in his mangal kabya, about 400 years ago. Raja Harishchandra of Seoraphuly constructed Nistarini Mandir and Bhadrakali Mandir in the year 1827 beside NimaiTirtha Ghat. then, lakhs of pilgrims take bath on river Ganga from this ghat and take holy water, visit Ma Nistarini and Debi Bhadrakali near, then use to go for Tarakeswar on foot to pour that Gangajal on the shiblinga of Baba Taraknath. Kripamoyee Kali Mandir Of Baranagar

Kripamoyee Kali Mandir of Baranagar, popularly known as Joy Mitra Kali Bari, is situated on the bank of river Hooghly at Baranagar of Kolkata. Baranagar is a very old place, more than 500 years ago this place was existed. Famous zaminder Joyram Mitra of Sovabazar established this temple in mid-April of the year 1851.
