Siddheswari Kali Of Baranagar Bazar

Many rumours are there about this Kali mandir beside Baranagar bazar.
Some says, a monk once created this idol by the mud of river Ganga. At
the onset it was under the shed of sedge (হোগলা). Then, this temple of
'Dalan' style was built. Rani Rasmoni and Sri Ramakrishna used to
visit this temple frequently.
