Mrinalini Debi had a tiny kitchen at the end of all the rooms on the
first floor of Jorasanko Thakur Bari. It has a unique shape. At the
entrance, utensils made of China clay and marble are under glassed
wall almirah on left & right side walls. Then, at the other end of the
room, at the left side - a mud oven is there with two holes as the
source of fuels. It was originally a mud oven to cook food but later
it has been transformed as concrete oven by the authority bearing in
mind the onward dilapidated conditions of the mud oven. However, still
now, the touch of a housewife can feel inside the kitchen.
