Valentine's Day Mass Marriage

On 14 February, a mass marriage organises by aroma-specialist Keya
Sheth will be the main attraction in the city of joy.
It would not be a general event of mass marriage. 25 pair of Hindus and
Muslims would be married under one roof. And the marriages of Hindus
will be performed by priests or purohits and the Kazis will perform
the Nikaah. All the marriages will be done by due registration.
Moreover, Thalasemia related prior blood
testing would be done before marriages.
The would be brides
and grooms are belong to poor families. So, marriage related all the
arrangements will be done by the institution of Keya Sheth alongwith
NGO 'Aloy Phera' of Paikpara, Kolkata. They will provide Benarasi
sari, dhuti, punjabi, flowers, garlands, ornaments etc. The
beauticians of 'Keya Sheth Spa' will take the venture to adorn the
brides. A package of gifts will also be provided to the newly
marrieds. To decorate their rooms, bedsteads, almirahs, pillows,
blankets, utensils etc will also be provided. For the self-employment
of brides, a sewing machine will be provided. Moreover, the bride will
get a scope to learn beautician course free of cost in the institution
of Keya Sheth.
And the menu of wedding reception? Rice, dal, various fries, veg (2 types), mutton/chicken, chatni, papad, payes and sweets. At least 50
persons can be invited per couple. A huge pandal being erected near
Tala Park for the said event. With jhaar bati, coloured flowers,
garlands and paper-cuttings, the pandals are being decorated.

Kripamoyee Kali Mandir Of Baranagar

Kripamoyee Kali Mandir of Baranagar, popularly known as Joy Mitra Kali Bari, is situated on the bank of river Hooghly at Baranagar of Kolkata. Baranagar is a very old place, more than 500 years ago this place was existed.  Famous zaminder Joyram Mitra of Sovabazar established this temple in mid-April of the year 1851.
