'Rath Yatra' Festival Of Rural Bengal

This evening I went to a rural village named Nalikul, to watch the
Rath Yatra festival. The evening was not so dry - drizzle, mud and
humidity there. But kids alongwith elders joyfully enjoyed the journey
of Lord Jagannath with cheers. Pulling the ropes of the chariot by the
enthusiastic kids - amazing scene to watch indeed. A fair is there to
enjoy the weeklong festival.
