officials to reorient the lights of parks. The birds who use to sleep
in complete dark, feeling disturbed by the high power lights falling
on trees and flying blindly to re-search their nests. So, Kolkata
Municipal Corporation decided to
install dimmer and 'timer' at the parks so that, high power lights will be off
after 9pm and height of the posts will also be reduced.
